£26,555 Raised for Royal Trinity Hospice — Thank You for Helping Make It Possible

We are deeply proud to share that London Tradition has been recognised as a Long-Standing Donor by Royal Trinity Hospice — London's oldest and largest hospice — following a partnership that stretches back to 2018.

Over the years, we have donated surplus garments from our collection to their charity shops, raising a total of £26,555 in income for the hospice. This milestone has been formally recognised with a Certificate of Achievement, signed by Andrew Keen, Director of Retail.

Why This Partnership Matters to Us

At London Tradition, we have always believed that quality clothing should never go to waste. Rather than allowing surplus stock to be discarded, donating garments to Royal Trinity Hospice gives each piece a second life whilst generating vital funds for an extraordinary cause. It is a simple idea — but one that, over eight years, has added up to something we are genuinely proud of.

Royal Trinity Hospice provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care to more than 2,500 patients and their families across South West London every year. The funds raised support nursing care, emotional and bereavement support, therapies, and wellbeing programmes — enabling people to receive compassionate care and dignity at the most challenging moments of their lives.

Eight Years of Giving

What began as a single donation in 2018 has grown into something far more meaningful. Royal Trinity Hospice described our relationship as "not a one-off initiative but an enduring partnership that demonstrates clear values, long-term thinking and a genuine dedication to making a positive difference."

In their letter to us, they went further — calling London Tradition "an excellent example of a business that successfully balances commercial success with social and environmental responsibility", noting that our commitment to charitable giving, sustainable stock management and community engagement has "delivered measurable benefits that extend well beyond its core business activities."

"Your commitment to creating positive social and environmental impact has made a meaningful difference to our patients, families and local community. We are proud to work alongside an organisation whose values align so closely with our own."

— Ms Africa Vieira Alvarez, Corporate Donations Manager, Royal Trinity Hospice

Words like these remind us why we do things the way we do. Thank you to everyone who has purchased from London Tradition over the years — every coat, every jacket, every garment plays a part in this story.
